RICE kHEER RECIPE

Today I'm sharing RICE KHEER RECIPE with you. It's traditional Indian desert made for festivals and celebrations, which is quite easy to put together and makes for great pudding.

INGREDIENTS;

1. 1 Litre Full Cream Milk

2. 5 or 6 Tablespoon Sugar 

3. 4 Tablespoon Basmati Rice 

4. 1-2 Cardemon (Elachi) 

5. Sliced almonds, pistachio and kaju.

METHOD;

1. Wash basmati rice a couple of time and then soak for 30 minutes.

2. In a heavy bottom pan boil the milk. Keep it on medium low flame.

3. Drain all the water and add the rice to the hot boiling milk, Simmer and cook rice on a low flame, no need to cover the pan when the rice is cooking. Add Cardemon and stir it.

4. keep Stirring continuously otherwise rice will stick to the bottom and taste bad(it's takes approximately 20-25 minutes or till the rice gets soft) make sure do not cook it on high flame.

5. Now add sugar and keep Stirring till the sugar dissolves evenly.

6. Switch off the flame. Garnish with sliced dry fruits

   Serve hot or chill
