DAL FRY RECIPE

Today I have posted dal tadka recipe for you, I love this dal with jeera rice.. hope you all like it ☺️
Ingredients;
1/2 cup toot dal
2 1/2cup water
2 tablespoon desi ghee
1 onion finely chopped
1 tomatoe finally chopped
1tsp ginger garlic paste
1 green chilli finally chopped
1 tsp jeera (cumin seeds)
1/2 tsp turmeric
1/2 tsp red chili powder
1/2 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp jeera
1/2 tsp garam masala
Pinch of Hing
Salt to taste
1 tsp kasuri methi
1 tbsp coriander leaves
Method:
1. Rinse the Dal and transfer to a pressure cooker. Add water, turmeric and salt.
2. Cook for 2 to 3 whistle on high flame then lower the heat and let it cook for 4 to 5 minutes.
3. In a kadahi heat desi ghee on medium flame add jeera, hing and onion and cook until light golden brown in colour
4. Add ginger garlic and green chilli. cook for 1-2 minutes
5. Add tomato and stir now add salt to taste.
6. Then add coarinder powder,red chili powder and mix. Cook for 5to 6 minutes until tomato are soft.
7. Now add boiled dal to the kadahi and mix. Add water to thin out the dal at per your taste.
8. Add kasuri methi, garam masala, coriander leaves.
9. Let the dal simmer for 3to4 minutes on medium heat.
You can serve the dal with jeera rice and ghee rice😊
