Today I'm sharing CHILLY GARLIC LOTUS STEM recipe with you all..Let me know what you think ...
PREP TIME - 25 minutes
COOKING TIME - 30 minutes
SERVE - 5
Ingredients;
Lotus stem 500gm
Garlic 3 to 4 cloves
Onions 2 medium (finely chopped)
Capcicum 2 small (finely chopped)
Spring onion bulbs 2 tablespoon (chopped)
Corn flour 3 tablespoons
Tomato sauce 2 tablespoon
Red Chili sauce 1 tablespoon
Salt to taste
Ajwain(carom seeds) 1/2 teaspoons
A pinch of black pepper
Oil for deep frying
Method;
1. Peel the lotus stem and wash it, cut them in to thinly slice .
2. Transfer it to a mixing bowl, add salt, carom seeds, black pepper and corn flour, and 2 tablespoon of water and mix well.
3. Take a kadahi on medium heat, filled with oil and deep fry the lotus stem until crisp and golden brown. Take it on plate and keep aside.
4. Take a another pan on high flame, add 1 tablespoon oil, garlic, onion saute them for a minute.
5. Now add capcicum and saute for 1-2 minutes.
6. Add sauces, salt and pepper to taste and saute for a minute again.
7. Add the crispy fried lotus stem, mix well, add some finely chopped spring green onions and toss well.
CRISPY CHILLY GARLIC LOTUS STEM is ready to be served
